Our very own Chris Maher interviewed Flyers Player Development Coach Nick Schultz. Give this video a listen as Nick dives into his younger years of 17-19, and talks about his playing days as a Flyer.
Schultz hails from Strasbourg, Canada, and was selected by the Minnesota Wild in 2000. The Flyers signed Schultz to a one-year deal in 2014-15, where he spent three seasons with the orange and black:
“We’re happy to have Nick come aboard and help develop the prospects in our system. Having enjoyed a lengthy career in which he played over 1,000 games as a defenseman in the NHL, Nick brings a wealth of experience and knowledge on what it takes to be a pro.” – Chuck Fletcher said in 2019 when Schultz was brought aboard as a development coach
