Flyers’ prospects absolutely showed up at the 2026 World Juniors on December 28. The big standout was in Finland’s dominant 8-0 rout of Latvia:
- Heikki Ruohonen (alternate captain) went off with 1 goal and 2 assists for a 3-point game.
- Max Westergard chipped in with 1 goal and 1 assist..
Both were key in Finland cruising to a shutout win.On the other side:
- Jack Berglund (Sweden’s captain) helped Sweden rally for a 4-2 comeback win over Switzerland, picking up the full two points there.
No games involving the Canadian or American prospects (Martone, Luchanko, Vansaghi, etc.) on the 28th, but the Flyers’ Finnish and Swedish guys definitely kicked some serious butt yesterday. Loving the production from the prospect pool!
