The Flyers made a depth trade today. They have acquired restricted free agent defenseman Maxence Guenette from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for defenseman Dennis Gilbert.
Guenette is a 6’2 RHD he had 23 points in 58 games played last season for Belleville, and He is a former Assistant Captain.
It has that the Flyers organization is trying to get a bit bigger on the blue line, with the hopes that one of these young defensemen will grab a spot by the bullhorn.
