Dan Hilferty and Keith Jones held their annual, “State of the organization” presser before training camp commences for the upcoming 2025-26 season. Here are all the good tidbits today from their presser:
- Keith Jones says that Tyson Foerster is still on track to start the year healthy, and ready to go.
- Keith Jones: “I appreciate how honest Danny has been with the media.”
- The Flyers still remain silent on Carter Hart. They will not answer any questions related to him.
- Keith Jones: “I’m really excited to get things started this year. It feels a little bit different from the first two years. I like the way the plan is coming together.”
- Dan Hilferty is hoping some of the younger players take the next step, and really develop.
- Dan Hilferty on the Flyers rebuild: “The patient approach is working.”
- Keith Jones on Matvei Michkov: “He wants to be a star in this league.”
- Keith Jones on Matvei Michkov: “He’s a very excitable player to watch. We are really happy he’s here and in year two. He helps us advance (The rebuild), but we need to add players to the mix.”
- Keith Jones said Aleksei Kolosov will be at Flyers Training Camp next week.
