Trevor Babin is a 25-year-old aspiring netminder, whom has seen time playing in the FPHL, SPHL and ECHL. He played with the Delaware Thunder in 2021-22, to which he made 50 to 58 saves nightly. Yes, that is not a typo as he finished the season with 1,467 saves in just 31 games played.

Recently, Babin played with the Motor City Rockers in the FPHL, and Kalamazoo Wings in the ECHL. Fir hhs efforts, Babin was recently informed he will attend the Detroit Red Wings prospect camp in July. This is not only a great opportunity, but it is more than well deserving of someone who has busted his butt at almost every level he’s played.

I got to see Babin play with the Thunder in 2021-22. What impressed me the most was his glove hand (Like Carter Hart ), and the way he moves post to post laterally. He’s a good skating netminder, and that enables him to move post to post so well.

He will not take credit for his success. Babin is one of those pliers that will always credit other people or his teammates for his overall success. In this case, congratulations Trevor. This is well deserved and an honor. You have really made people around. You have made those people around you feel happy and special, and that is no easy trait to have.

Here is an article I published on him about two years ago:
