he Flyers’ rookies are set to face the New York Rangers’ rookies in a two-game series at the PPL Center in Allentown, PA. The games are scheduled for Friday, September 12, 2025, at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 5:05 p.m.
This marks the fifth consecutive season of the Rookie Series between the two teams, with the Flyers holding a 4-3-1 record in the matchup. The series provides a platform for prospects to gain experience, with expected participants including recent draft picks like Jett Luchanko, Matvei Michkov, and Oliver Bonk for the Flyers.
“The Rookie Series gives our young prospects a great platform to compete, gain experience, and showcase their development,” Flyers’ General Manager Danny Briere said In a press release yesterday. “Over the last few seasons, building this series with the Rangers has created a strong partnership and competitive edge that benefits both organizations. It’s a great early test for the prospects and a chance for our staff to evaluate them in game situations.”
