either.

Finally, people can hear the sweet sounds of hockey skates gliding across the ice, people hitting the boards, the pounding of the sticks ob the ice. Hockey is back, alive and well. Without further delay, here are our answers to your questions.

When John Tortorella took to Sirius Radio to explain some locker room problems. I believe that that was the third or fourth time he has stated that there has been some locker room problems, especially after meeting with all the players and staff in the Summer.

Honestly, no one really knows what problem or problems existed. Unfortunately, we were restricted from the locker room for the past two years due to covid regulations, so those stories never really came out. What I can say is I think Tortorella took to the radio to make it known that a locker room problem existed, so he took to the airwaves and placed everyone on notice to fix the problem therein lies. He’s trying to rebuild the locker room, as well as, fix the problems on the ice. Tortorella wants to have a good on Ice product, it’s a tall task, but he will put forth a good Training Camp to ensure that this happens.

Elliot Desnoyers put forth a good weekend of rookie game hockey. He needed that following a less than subpar WJC Tournament from his behalf. Desnoyers skated well, and was involved heavily in the play. He won key faceoff draws, led the play up with the ice, and really looked like the Desnoyers of old.

With that being said, he possesses all the skills to be a solid playmaker. He reminds me a lot of Anthony Cirelli, whom at the 25 years of age is solid two-way Forward. If Desnoyers becomes that, then that was a hell of a pick by Chuck Fletcher.

The ice has already been laid, and it appears that it will not return this season. They are trying to right the ship from the past two seasons, so they decided to try something new. Let’s see what next season brings.

Waivers exempts:

Wade Allison

Noah Cates

Cam York

Egor Zamula

Tyson Foerster

Jackson Cates

Tanner Laczynski

Olle Lycksell

Zayde Wisdom

Elliot Desnoyers

Wyatte Wylie

Samuel Ersson

Bobby Brink

Some young players like Morgan Frost, Owen Tippett, and Joel Farabee would have to pass through waivers, if the Flyers elected to send them back to the AHL for cap purposes.

I do not think adding Artem Anisimov to a PTO is the final straw for Chuck Fletcher as he explained this past Thursday. I firmly believe that Fletcher will be on the market trying to add a Center. The one position that the organization lacks with depth is at the Center position.

In my opinion when the organization as the exact timeline of Couturier’s injury. It will be easier for Fletcher to navigate, and they could possibly put Ellis and Couturier on LTIR.
