The Flyers are red-hot after beating the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-3 in overtime last night. With the victory the Flyers (75 points) remained in third place in the Metropolitan Division, but are only five points out of first place that is currently held by the Pittsburgh Penguins (80 points, the Washington Capitals are also tied for first, but in second due to the tie breaker). Without further delay, here are our answers to your questions.

I predicted the Flyers to finish in third place in the Metropolitan Division with 102 points, and I will stand pat with that. This team has exceeded the fans and some pundits expectations by a mile, and it’s great to see.

@DreamCrusher2- Always looking for the latest Nolan Patrick update. Coming down to the wire with the trade deadline and I firmly say stay pat if he’s coming back

Nolan Patrick still has Not been cleared for contact, but he was cleared to practice with the Flyers on a full-time this past Monday. The hope is he will become full contact soon, “He will definitely do a conditioning stint at Lehigh when he returns,” Alain Vigneault said this past Monday.

Patrick has made tons of progress, and he has ramped it up here as of late. This is great news, and he would be the best trade deadline acquisition the Flyers could make. “You have no idea how hard it is to hear how are you,” Patrick said,I just want to play.
