The Flyers are looking to right the ship from game 2, where they were pummeled by the Montreal Canadiens 5-0. Pummeled is putting it nicely. Hopefully, the Flyers get back to basics with providing a net front presence, and win game 3 to go up 2-1 in the series against the Canadiens. Without further delay, here are our answers to your questions.

I personally believe Nolan Patrick will return 100% next season and make a huge impact with this team. This team could use his services right now as a 3C, and people are seeing that after just five games in the playoffs. Better days are ahead next season for Patrick and the Flyers.

Let’s just say hypothetically the Flyers lose this playoff series to the Montreal Canadiens. I do not believe that will spell the end of Claude Giroux or Jakub Voracek in a Flyers uniform. If you can remember most analysts had the Flyers missing the playoffs before the season began. Just because this team has over-exceeded some people’s expectations, this team as constructed should be given more than one season with all the turnover to make a true run for Lord Stanley’s Cup.

I had the Flyers winning in five games before the series began, and I still believe that today. If you watched my last prediction and preview video, I picked the Flyers to lose game 2, 2-1. The Flyers will right the ship, and win the series against the Canadiens.

Shayne Gostisbehere (Ghost) has been involved in many trade rumors this past season. However, I do believe Chuck Fletcher will trade him in the offseason. I like Ghost, but this log jam at defense will be addressed in the offseason.

I do not believe Ghost has the value of a one for one swap for William Nylander. Nylander is a good player, that needs a change of scenery. I just think the Flyers would have to offer more than Ghost for his services.
