Quarantine, we are living our lives in a quarantine. The Flyers would be riding a nine game winning streak, with Carter Hart, Claude Giroux, and Travis Konecny absolutely on a tear. Without further delay, here are our answers to your questions.

This is a great question, and one that the NHL has to prepare for in the hardest hit cities/states affected by the Coronavirus. Florida could be thrown in there, as well, even though the Spring Breakers may throw the actual numbers off somewhat. The NHL would have to use neutral sites, to include the Prudential Center (Home of the New Jersey Devils) as a possible host. We should all know something by Easter weekend I believe.

Wade Allison a signed, and it comes as no shock. He told us at Developmental Camp the ball would be in the Flyers court in regards to a contract, following his Senior season at Western Michigan.

Allison definitely restocks the Right-Wing position in a big way.

The Flyers will definitely take a sniper with size with their first round selection, in particular, for sure. Unlike year’s past, this draft is loaded with players with height that could be snagged in the first or second rounds for that matter. Some players that could interest the Flyers in the first round are:

Jacob Perreault (C)- 5’11”, 198 pounds. Here’s a great piece I wrote on him after interviewing him a month ago.

Jack Quinn (RW)- 5’11”, 176 Pounds

Dylan Holloway (LW)- 6’0″ 192 Pounds

Dawson Mercer (RW)- 6’0″ 177 Pounds

Connor Zary (C)- 6’0″ 180 Pounds

John-Jason Peterka– 5’11” 192 Pounds (Austrian)

Sam Morin is doing according to the Flyers, and the last update I got on him was back in late January/Early February. The Flyers still have his equipment in his locker stall in Voorhees, so that’s a good sign he plans to try at least workout somewhat in the near future.

Nolan Patrick- Status Quo (Right before the suspension)

Nate Thompson- Should be healed and ready to return

JVR- Still should be two weeks away from a full recovery.

Philippe Myers- Should be 100% for a return.

Oskar Lindblom- Treatments are going well, and he is doing better than expected.

My favorite breakfast is a tough one. I love sausage and bacon, but in the end I have to choose sausage over bacon. My favorite breakfast meal is a sausage and cheese omelette.

Oskar Lindblom will more than likely receive a two-year deal, and I could see him making anywhere’s from $2.5-$3.5 million. The good thing for Oskar is he will have all the health benefits as all other players throughout the league.

I think there will be an uptick in buyouts this Summer, as the cap will no longer go up in my opinion. The cap should stay the same at around $82 million, and it’s a darn shame for all teams involved. Fortunately, the NHL plans to reconvene the season at some point, so let’s hope this holds true, as it could help extend the cap a little higher.

On one hand I could see Alex Lyon walking, as his future is in jeopardy (Long-term) with the Flyers and Phantoms. Lyon is only 27-years-old, and might be looking for a long-term contract with an organization to be a starter at the very least in the AHL. The Flyers will more than likely re-sign Brian Elliott for another year, and the Phantoms will have at least one of Kirill Ustimenko and Felix Sandstrom vying for a job, or possibly both.

If I’m Fletcher I try to re-sign Lyon for another year, so that he can help mentor Ustimenko and/or Sandstrom. Lyon is a class act, and honestly has done so much for us over the past few seasons.
