The Flyers are just very inconsistent. One game they dominate, the next not so much, for instance, losing to the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 in a shootout. The orange and black really have to develop some consistency if they want to right the ship this season. Without further delay, here are our answers to your questions.

Cam York is playing much better as of late, but he still needs a little bit more time for developmental purposes with the Phantoms. I would venture sometime in January or February is a good time to call up York.

The Flyers aren’t worried about Keith’s Yandle’s iron man streak, rather it’s about winning hockey games. If Ryan Ellis was healthy, maybe Yandle would have sat a game or two for Nick Seeler. Unfortunately, the Flyers haven’t had the luxury of having Ellis for a large portion of the season.

I think the players admire the bag movement. They are aware of it on social media, as there aren’t many bags at the Wells Fargo Center or on the road when the Flyers play, however, they are definitely aware of it. They should use this as fuel to get better.

Some may think this is a crazy question, but the Flyers have tried converting forwards to defenseman last season. However, I do not think the organization intends to move Isaac Ratcliffe to a defenseman. If they did this, this would have already transpired. A move like this could transpire next training camp, much like the one to try to convert Samuel Morin to forward in 2020-21. Good question though.

Wade Allison is a Top 9 player…period. If the Flyers do not have a spot for him in the top 9 then he should not be recalled.

Unfortunately, Allison did not play the final six minutes of last night’s game last. Let’s hope he hasn’t sustained another injury. He hit a player, and Allison is the one that came up on the odd end of the stick.

The players aforementioned in your comment like Samuel Morin and Ryan Ellis have not been healthy, so Yandle cannot sit a game or two. Hopefully, they get healthy soon and people can see this team at full strength.

Chuck Fletcher will make some moves at the trade deadline and it will be interesting to see where the fire sit at that particular time, mainly to see who they off-load for the future, like Claude Giroux possibly.

Unfortunately, inflated prices her parking, snacks, beer, and other beverages are just the going rates of throughout major sporting events, and concerts for that matter. People continue to pay the prices, so why would people in these positions reduce them? If people are disappointed with the prices, then they shouldn’t go to take a stand to try to get these prices reduced.

Claude Giroux is interesting. He may or may not be here following the trade deadline. The trade deadline will be interesting, and it will depend on where the Flyers are at in the standings if Giroux gets moved or not. Realistically if the Flyers are out of the playoff position by the trade deadline anyone, to include Oskar Lindblom could be moved for obvious reasons.

According to my sources this morning, the NHL has no intention of pausing the season, and hopefully they do not ban fans at the Wells Fargo Center. Canada is obviously a different country, and all politics aside they have a reason for doing what they’re doing. I just hope everyone has a great holiday season, and please remain safe.

  1. Please stop talking about or asking to get Claude Giroux traded! Stop it! For Flyers fans to hope for that is insanity to me.

    1. Giroux has done Nothing in 12 years. He figure skates around and collects his check. What a joke.Time to move on.
