The NHL plans to move into Phase 3 (Training Camp) on July 10, 2020, as hockey is almost back folks. Players are starting to trickle back to the Flyers Skate Zone with the likes of Sean Couturier, Carter Hart, NAK, Joel Farabee, Ivan Provorov, Yegor Zamula, Alex Lyon, and Mark Friedman all skating and working out. In addition, Kevin Hayes will be reporting here shortly, as well. Let’s hope things continue to go smoothly, so the Flyers could contend for Lord’s Stanley Cup. Without further delay here are our answers to your questions.

The final NHL Awards should be announced next week I presume. The NHL and NHLPA are negotiating the Hub Cities, as that has taken priority, so I wouldn’t expect an announcement on the awards until next week at the earliest.

Nope no Nolan Patrick sightings yet. However, expect this young man to return before training camp begins on July 10. He’s so darn talented, if he is able to play, watch out.

The longest winning streak for the Flyers against a single franchise was against the New York Islanders from 3-1-2008/3-9-2010. It was a total of 15 straight games. In addition, the second longest winning streak against a single franchise for the Flyers was against the Los Angeles Kings, a streak that spanned 14 straight games (4-1-1978/1-5-1982).

The longest losing streak against a single franchise for the Flyers was against those darn pesky Boston Bruins from 10-25-1970/12-17-1972. This also was a span of 15 games ironically enough.
