Flyers Fans have been asking, how do we get a look at Aleksei Kolosov in the Flyers net without further damaging Samuel Ersson’s confidence? Well this is certainly not the ideal situation but, ask and you shall receive. All signs including the AHL transaction page point towards Kolosov being recalled to the Flyers. He should meet up with the team in Pittsburgh where they faceoff against the Penguins tonight.
Kolosov has been doing very well for himself in Lehigh Valley. He was recently named AHL player of the week after stopping 60 of 61 shots over two games played for a .50 GGA and a SV% .984 in those contests. Overall this season with the Phantoms Kolosov’s record is 9-8-1 with a 2.51 GAA and a SV% of .910.
