Matvei Michkov was out there looking sharp alongside Denver Barkey and a handful of others yesterday at an optional practice, and Flyers’ Head Coach Rick Tocchet pretty much confirmed he’s good to go for tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs, following a morning skate.
As expected, there was no sign of Jamie Drysdale or Bobby Brink, which tracks with them still getting evaluated after those rough hits in the Anaheim Ducks game (Drysdale’s blindside from Johnston looked especially nasty, though no suspension coming).
Tocchet said they’re in decent spirits but no real timeline yet—probably sitting out tonight.Huge boost getting Michkov back, especially on this homestand.
