The Flyers are looking to redeem themselves and make the playoffs this season. Well, they are off to a solid campaign in 2019-20. Of course, with some highs, a team encounters some adversity. Well, look no further than the six forwards all succombing to some type of injury, or suspension at once.
Shockingly, the Flyers have sent back Carsen Twarynski to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, and have recalled Center/Winger Andy Andreoff. Twarynski appears to be the new Justin Bailey this season with going back and forth between the Phantoms and Flyers.
Andreoff gets another shot to make an imprint with the orange and black. He played well his first stint with the Flyers, and provided much needed energy to a fourth line that was in desperate need of such. For the Flyers, he has registered 1 apple in 6 games played this season. However, Andreoff provided 9 hits, 3 blocks, and registered 1 takeaway in his short stint with the big club.
The good thing about Andreoff is his versatility. He can play both Center and Wing. With Scott Laughton on the shelf for an undisclosed amount of time. Andreoff can possibly fill the void of losing Laughton.
