We hit the road for one final recap of a disappointing Flyers season. Jake and myself from “Talkin 215” podcast, a fan favorite on the “Marks and Reese” show on 94.1 WIP. We joined forces at Reedy’s Tavern in the Northeast section of Philadelphia for a final live recap of the Flyers season, and it was a great time.
Dissecting the Flyers season in front of a solid crowd, we disagreed and agreed on a lot of things. Some of the big points by Jake made was the future of Travis Konecny. Would you trade him or not? Would you hold on to him in hopes he makes a big return? What does the future hold for him? I personally wouldn’t mind a package deal surrounding Konecny with the Flyers being strong at forward. They could use him to add a solid defenseman.
We certainly did agree that the season was not good, however. They started out of the gate strong point wise, but it ended in disappointment. Hopefully, the team bounces back with much more fire next season.
