Before we dive into this Flyers practice update, it appears the Flyers will indeed play the Seattle Kraken tomorrow night at 10pm. Wooooo it feels great typing that!!!!! Of course, Martin Jones will be the starter in goal for the Flyers, as Carter Hart is in Covid Protocol.
The Good News:
Kevin Hayes and Morgan Frost will travel with the Flyers on this road trip as they were removed from Covid Protocol today before practice. They will play tomorrow night, as Flyers Interim Head Coach said the Flyers cannot give them time to ease back into the lineup, as the roster is stretched too thin at the moment.
The Flyers have recalled Cam York and Kirill Ustimenko to the Taxi Squad, and this pulls the Taxi Squad Roster to five: Jackson Cates, Felix Sandström, Kirill Ustimenko, Cam York, and Gerry Mayhew. Also, the Flyers only have five players in Covid Protocol, to include, Scott Laughton, Sean Couturier, Ryan Ellis, Derick Brassard, and Carter Hart.

Hopefully, the Flyers can get back to their winning ways tomorrow night in Seattle. The Kraken have recently lost Brandon Tanev for the remainder of the season with a torn ACL, but the Flyers cannot sleep on any opponent for the rest of the season. Let’s hope they continue their five game point streak (4-0-1 in their last five) tomorrow night.
When is Morin coming back?
His funeral for his career is next week. I feel really really bad for that kid.
What a great attitude for him to have to continue to push back and make it back to the NHL.. at this point, how long can his knees even hold up though?
