Hello and welcome back to another edition of The Hockey Writer Ink. In this action-packed episode, we are lucky enough to get to say Hallo und herzlich willkommen (hello and welcome) to our good friend Gunny who is also a writer for Flyers Nitty Gritty who was gracious enough to join us all the way from Germany. Where he is currently stationed at seeing that he is a proud and active member of our beloved United States Marine Corps.
In the first segment of the show myself, and Steel ask Gunny just how he got into writing and came to join the Flyers Nitty Gritty group.
Then in the second segment of the show we dive into my latest articles. In the first piece I hit on how the recent injuries have seemed to hurt the team, how they are trying to recover from them, and mentioned a name that the Flyers may be able to acquire for cheap (considering his latest decision of where to play because of the way his team has treated him as of late) that could help.
Then moving on to the second article that I wrote this past week: We discuss just why the fans of Philadelphia should not look down on Carter Hart just yet. Although his numbers were lacking there was just cause for the sudden slide given his defenses current failures.
To finish out the show Steel throws some rapid-fire questions down range at Gunny and I concerning some current Flyers topics and potential issues.
