Matvei Michkov continues to be one of the biggest stories for the Flyers this offseason. Almost every single day something comes out in relation to Michkov, whether it’s on Instagram or Twitter.
From throwing out the first pitch at the Phillies game, to Michkov’s family now in town to better help him adapt to North America. A photo service this weekend on Instagram of Egor Zamula, Michkov, and Michkov’s mom and brother. They were poolside, celebrating. Michkov’s mom’s birthday this past weekend.
Flyers’ General Manager Danny Briere did state at his introductory press conference to the media in Voorhees a few months ago, that he was working on getting Michkov’s mom and brother visas, to help Matvei better adapt to North America. Just having family around for these type of moments are special, and this should ease his transition in the United States of America.
