The season is nearing a close, good gosh it’s gone fast!!! It feels like yesterday it just started, and yet another hockey season is almost in the books. Morgan Frost is riding high, while some other players, well, just look like they don’t care. Without further delay, here or are answers to your questions.

This is a valid question, considering all the major changes the Flyers will make to the Hockey Ops and team for that matter this season. With the addition of Dan Hilferty it became clear to me that Comcast will not sell the Flyers. They would not have hired a bulldog like Hilferty, and one that has an extensive track record like Dan Hilferty. Let’s revisit this in three to four years at least.

One thing has become clear over the course of the past week and a half, and that is the relationship between John Tortorella and Danny Briere. The two are spending time in the press box together watching some of these games, while going over the future of some of the players and the organization alike. Me thinking that air will be announced as the permanent General Manager sometime after the season concludes. The goal would be to have a permanent General Manager in place at least a month before the draft.

Eric Lindros and Chris Pronger have indeed been rumored to take positions within the organization somehow. Exactly what type of positions are being offered, or if they were offered at all has yet to be determined. Things have kind of cooled off in that department.

it could be a bad idea depending on what job is being offered to them. Pronger does have experience in a Senior Advisor role to the President, that was the title he was given with the Florida Panthers organization, but Lindros has limited experience in some of these roles. Again let’s not jump to conclusions, no one knows exactly what type of role or positions they were being offered.

NHL Draft Targets:

Depending on where the Flyers select. They could target Zach Benson, Leo Carlsson, Adam Fanitlli (If they move up the board Ping Pong Ball Drawing is May 8), Will Smith, Oliver Moore, or Dalibor Dvorsky

Hockey Ops:

President- Ray Shero

Senior Advisor to President- Chris Pronger

GM- Danny Briere

Assistant GM- Korie Chevrie (Would become the 7th woman in history to hold this title). She also interviewed well with the Seattle Kraken, and spent time with the Arizona Coyotes at their rookie camp last Fall.

Senior Advisors- Eric Lindros, Brent Flahr possibly

Here are some notable players with cap to move this offseason, and I would do just that:

Tony DeAngelo

Travis Sanheim

Kevin Hayes

JvR

I would not add many players (Vets), just stockpile youth

Goes:

Tony DeAngelo

Travis Sanheim

Wade Allison

Tanner Laczynski

Felix Sandström

Kevin Hayes

Justin Braun

Torts will be a Flyers coach next season, 100%
