Flyers’ General Manager Chuck Fletcher provided an update on two important Flyers: Sean Couturier and James van Riemsdyk.
Couturier underwent successful back revision surgery thursday. His expected recovery time is 3 to 4 months. So, realistically he is out until January or February.
JvR underwent successful surgery for his broken index finger, his expected recovery time is approximately six weeks.

To recap, Couturier is out until approximately January or February at the earliest, while JvR is out until at least mid December at the earliest.
