Sean Couturier hopes to return in late February or early March, sees the doctor this week, per Flyers’General Manager Chuck Fletcher
Wade Allison hopes to return tomorrow
Cam Atkinson is out the season with apparently nerve irritation in his arm, apparently stemming from the neck region:
“He just couldn’t get over the hump, and it’s for the future” – Chuck Fletcher
John Tortorella sounded off on Cam Atkinson:
“I coached him for 6 years. I’ve been a sounding board for him through this. He’s ready to get this done.”
Let’s not forget the human aspect with Cam Atkinson and his season ending injury. Prayers and thoughts go out to Cam and his family. He is expected to make a full recovery and be ready for the 2023-24 season.
