Flat. Lack of shots and determination. A very disappointing loss to the Boston Bruins for the secondnd game in a row. Let’s get into it.

Hart to rest

It’s safe to say Carter Hart is struggling. He has allowed four plus goals in back to back games to the Bruins. I think it’s safe to to say the Coach will give Brian Elliott a chance in the next game on Tuesday night against the New Jersey Devils. It’s time for Carter Hart to settle down, get right, and get focused. I expect Elliott to play the next game scheduled.

Where is the scoring?

The Flyers were held to just one goal on 17 shots. With the players that the team has, they are much better then this. It’s extremely concerning how flat the team looks, and they need to address it. Breakouts are an issue, the overall team defense is a leaking faucet, they won’t shoot the puck. It’s a mess right now in Flyer land.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it

  1. The problem with this team, as we have seen over the past 4 years, is that NONE of the defenseman actually play defense.

    Provorov is purely offensive.
    Ghost pure offense.
    Sanheim offense.
    Myers offense.
    Gustafsson offense.

You can’t win in the playoffs with all offensive D.

1st or 2nd round exit coming up.
