With the Flyers season over fans have a team to start cheering for that are making a push in the playoffs. The Philadelphia 76ers are starting to make big push in the payoffs and fans couldn’t be more excited. Coming off a win in game two, the team now faced a game in Atlanta for game three match-up, and they certainly didn’t disappoint.
My Co-host Jake from podcast “Talkin 215” and I gathered for a short vacation in Bethany, Delaware. There is a great bar known as “Summer Salts Beach Grille” in Bethany Beach, formerly known as “Peaches” was filled with with Flyers and Sixers fans. The love for Philadelphia Sports is throughout, and we just happened to find a gold mine in a small town. Fans gathered everywhere to watch the game and talk sports. Flyers fans talked with Sixers fans, and vice versa.
Long time Flyers fan Mark from Philadelphia travels to Delaware to watch the game and cheer on his team. I asked him what he thought about the Flyers season, and what he thinks about the 76ers run in the playoffs. Mark says ” The Flyers season was disappointing, things need to change, but it’s great to finally see the 76ers, hopefully, get out the second round”. He is a firm believer the Flyers will get better, but Mark was really happy to cheer on his beloved basketball team on vacation, a true Philadelphia fan.Â
