Elliot Desnoyers is red-hot as he continues his tear for the Halifax Mooseheads. It’s great to have some fan interaction with a prospect Flyers fans are coming to really fall in love with. Here are Desnoyers’s answers to the fans questions from an interview I conducted with him on Tuesday afternoon.

“My favorite hometown team while growing up was the Montreal Canadiens.”
Not sure about question number 1.
“I grew up watching Brendan Gallagher, a guy that plays in all situations, and makes his teammates better.”
“My All-Time favorite Flyer is Claude Giroux. I grew up watching Claude Giroux. He’s a great player, and a good leader. I remember watching him in the playoffs against the Penguins, and he seemed like a good leader.”
Desnoyers did not know the answer to this question, as he did not know what this meant. He appreciated the question though.
@CoachVerna (Twitter)– Does he see himself as more of a playmaker or a scorer?
“I see myself as a playmaker. I will always work hard it’s part of who I am. I will be there one day, and work as hard as I can. They (The Flyers) are getting a player who will make his teammates better.”

“I think the next step is the AHL. I think it’s normal due to the levels of the game. One more year of Junior, then train and hopefully make it.”
No specific answer, however he said, “I’m a hard-worker, who makes his teammates better.”
“Sweet potato with Chicken and vegetables. Nothing too heavy (Laughing).” He appeared to enjoy this question.
I did not get a chance to ask him this question, but I will ask him at Developmental Camp if he comes.

Desnoyers loved the fans questions, and honestly this was a great interview. He appears to have a great mindset, and looks to make an imprint with the Flyers in the future. Look for his full interview to be released tomorrow.
