The Flyers had a busy day today. They trimmed their training camp roster by 14 players today, and their roster now sits at 23:
Oliver Bonk (London Knights)
Denver Barkey (London Knights)
J.R Avon (Phantoms)
Elliot Desnoyers (Phantoms)
Sawyer Boulton (Phantoms)
Oskar Eklind (Phantoms)
Samu Tuomaala (Phantoms)
Emil Andrae (Phantoms)
Adam Ginning (Phantoms)
Helge Grans (Phantoms)
Hunter McDonald (Phantoms)
Alexsei Kolosov (Phantoms)
Placed on waivers, with the intent of sending to the Phantoms:
Olle Lycksell
Anthony Richard
Jett Luchanko has earned another look, and a nine game tryout apparently. He has worked hard and has earned this moment. It’s just like Flyers’ Head Coach John Tortorella and Associate Coach Darryl Williams both say “He’s earned it.” Although, the roster isn’t official until Monday (When NHL rosters have to be submitted), it appears that both Luchanko and Matvei Michkov will be making their NHL Debuts against the Vancouver Canucks.
Emil Andrae has also done very well, and due to numbers he got cut today. Andrae, Anthony Richard, and Olle Lycksell should keep their heads up high. They performed very well, and could be the first recalls if an injury arises.

In the end, none of these aforementioned cuts should come as a shock. Let’s see how the rest of camp goes. I do expect more roster cuts to happen by Sunday.
I learned a lot from this post—thank you!
Reading your essay was a true pleasure for me. You were quite successful in elucidating the subject, and your writing is both interesting and easy to understand. The principles were much easier to grasp after reading the examples you provided. Your expertise is much appreciated.
