The Flyers had a busy day today. They trimmed their training camp roster by five players, and now the roster sits at 52. Here are the list of players the Flyers cut today:
Oliver Bonk- Loaned back to the London Knights
Denver Barkey
Carter Sotheran
Sam Sedley- Relieved of camp invite
Jonathan Fauchon – Relieved of camp invite
Oliver Bonk and Denver Barkey had great camps. They both should hold their heads up high. Both were very impressive and Flyers fans should get to know both. Barkey and Bonk will have good careers in the NHL, that’s how good they did, especially infusing the lineup with speed.

Sotheran was solid at camp, and took beatings from Garnet Hathaway and Nic Deslauriers, in a good way. He proved he could handle the physicality, but he is still very raw. Sedley and Fauchon leave with no ELC’s, and are cut as expected.
In the end, none of these aforementioned cuts should come as a shock. Let’s see how the rest of camp goes. I do expect more roster cuts to happen on Thursday.
