Flyers Fans were out in force to support the Flyers Charities Carnival 2026 and as they say, a good time was had by all. The frigid temperatures and perma-snow that showed up a week ago and refuses to leave could not keep the faithful from showing up to support the cause.

The Flyers Carnival has become a time honored tradition spanning five decades. The first event was held on February 1st 1977. Originally the proceeds went to help Flyer Barry Ashbee who was battling leukemia at the time. Sadly, Ashbee passed later that same year but the Carnival lived on in his honor.

The proceeds go towards aiding families affected by cancer throughout the Philadelphia region. A percentage of the funds also goes towards reviving play spaces in the area to grow the game of hockey.
So it’s a good time for great cause. Here is a quick look inside this year’s event. One of the attractions is a chance for Flyers Fans to meet some of their favorite players.

It was a great day at the rink. Everyone was in a great mood. The Flyers organization put together a great event for a good cause. Flyers Fans were a lot of fun to be around as everybody did the right things. Give yourselves a nice round of applause.
