After a hard fought game the night before, the Flyers looked to rebound against the Devils at the Wells Fargo Center.
Farabee is the best player on the team
It’s without question the sophomore forward Joel Farabee is the top player on this years on the roster, as he scored his team leading 14th goal. With lots of questioning surrounding the team and the future. He is one piece you will not want to let go.
The defense is the one of biggest problems
One word, Flat. The Flyers defense continued to turn the puck over which is ending up in goals the other way. An turnover in overtime costed the Flyers the game before. There seems to be zero communication and zero accountability on that side of the ice. Something needs to happen here. A roster move, a trade, anything. They have to play better for the team and for the goalie. It’s just not happening right now.
A hurting Coots is better then no Coots
It was confirmed that Coots is battling a hip flexor injury, but that did not keep him out the lineup. Number 14 is giving it all he has to keep the Flyers alive and win games. He netted two goals in the comeback, but couldn’t finish with a win. He’s playing well and that’s all Flyers fans can ask for. It’s a grueling sport, seeing this shows who had the heart to play.
