During the first period, Carter Hart shined and gave the Flyers a chance stay in the game, “He definitely gave us a chance, especially early in the game, breakaway. That’s two games in a row. He’s been outstanding. He’s done it all year, he just goes about it. I don’t worry about his preparation. He’s been steady,” John Tortorella emphatically stated about Carter Hart following the game against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Things went well for the Flyers #71, Tyson Foerster, has he not his first goal of the season, a dirty goal finally scored with the man advantage.

It seem like everything was going good for the Flyers, but they were struggling with zone entries once again on the power play. They just have a hard time entering the zone cleanly with the man advantage, however, the power play started the game out 2-2 somehow. They did have a five minute play that they tell the score on, but they did stick with it after losing some of their mojo in the second period.

Carter Hart was fantastic in this tilt. He was making save after save, Hart was just dialed in from the puck drop today was just dialed in from puck drop yesterday. He kept the Flyers in the game, and Hart managed to steal a point for the orange and black, as the game made its way to overtime with the score notched at three.

The Flyers were trying to find a way to beat the defending champs, and Sean Couturier iced the game off weird bounces into Vegas’s goaltender Adin Hill. For Coots, after suffering through injury after injury for the past few seasons, finally he won a game for the Flyers and the proud faithful.

It’s a quick turnaround for the Flyers, a they host the Columbus Blue Jackets at 5:30pm today. The Flyers are currently in second place in the Metropolitan Division.
