Seth Jarvis, a sniper, is expected to be selected between picks 12-18 at the 2020 NHL Draft. He is a Goaltender’s nightmare, and a player that I’m sure Flyers General Manager Chuck Fletcher covets. The Flyers are against the cap like most teams when their last two Restricted Free Agents sign (Nolan Patrick and Philippe Myers re-sign). What is the easiest way for the orange and black to obtain a sniper without cost? Well, move up in the draft from the 23rd pick to the 12th pick that is currently being held by the Florida Panthers.

The Flyers have assets and players that are or nearing NHL ready status to overcome losing some assets that would be involved with making this move to snag Jarvis. Jarvis is a speed demon that has a highly accurate shot. He is not afraid, nor does he hesitate to shoot the puck. Jarvis is a comparable to Montreal’s Brendan Gallagher.
