Five Flyers prospects will represent their respective countries at the 2025 World Juniors:
Jett Luchanko
Oliver Bonk
Carson Bjarnason
Heikki Ruohonen
Jack Berglund
Denver Barkey did not make Team Canada, a move that was surprising to me. Maybe Barkey could use this as fire, to fuel him even farther this season. However, this is quite an honor for all those prospects that were selected to represent their respective countries.
Reading Royals
After defeating the Worcester Railers 5-2 this past Wednesday night. The Royals were riding high into a weekend tilt with the Wheeling Nailers.
It was anything but blissful for this revamped Royals squad, as they dropped both games (Saturday and Sunday) 4-1. They just cannot seem to muster a winning streak as of late, but they get back to action on Friday night against the Adirondack Thunder.
They had 10 injured players, as the Royals are using plug in guy after plug in guy to help bandaid the team. Unfortunately the schedule is doing this team no justice right now.
The next man up mentality is a real thing in Reading lately, as the team tries to hold it together like glue.
