It’s been a busy few days for the Flyers. The news never stops, as Rasmus Ristolainen underwent successful surgery on his ruptured triceps tendon, Flyers’ General Manager Danny Briere announced today. The surgery was performed by Dr. Keith Meister.
He is expected to be out 3 months, but be ready in time for training camp.
Looks like he will be able to start heavy training mid July. Up until this point the injury was sort of a mystery. All that media and fans are like new was he was out with an upper body injury, which led to heavy speculation that it might have been a concussion.
