Winning is something the Flyers haven’t done for the past few seasons. Fans in media like, to include the players, have become accustomed to losing seasons. Well, this is the new Era of Orange, and it just feels different with the Flyers early success, while maintaining a 15-10-2 record.
Everybody is Happy the Flyers are winning right? Not so fast, says a franchise netminder in Carter Hart, “I don’t believe anybody wants us to win,” Hart said following the Flyers victory. “It fires us up, if fuels the fire to prove everyone wrong. It just strengthens our belief in each other. We love each other. Tight group here, everybody is willing to fight for the guy sitting next to them.”
Hart is right, there are some Flyers faithful that would like to see the Flyers tank this season and lose. There are some people that would like the Flyers to have yet another losing season, and stick to the old path that this organization has followed down for the past few seasons. These comments aren’t surprising to those who have the “X” app, formerly known as Twitter, or Facebook for that matter. So Hart is correct, and nobody should be mad that he said the truth.

This team is firing on all cylinders right now. They are 4-0-1 and their last five games played, and the recent success has propelled them to second place in the Metropolitan Division, “We just play hard. We Believe in each other, we trust each other. We take everything one day at a time, Carter Hart says. That’s not a bad philosophy, this young Flyers team has defeated some top-tier teams with the likes of the Colorado Avalanche and the Vegas Golden Knights.
it’s this belief that has instilled this winning philosophy, and has the Flyers firing on all cylinders at the moment. It’s the underdog belief that they can compete with any team in the National Hockey League. John Tortorella really has done an amazing job with instilling this into his players. Most Flyers fans appreciate the winning ways right now that the organization is currently enduring, while some other Flyers fans are not happy. The Wells Fargo Center has been packed here as of late, and yet again Twitter well was right in his realm, if the team starts to win, they will come is what he said last season.
This young Flyers team is fun to watch, and they compete hard on most nights. Is this team perfect? No, then may endure more setbacks, but right now they are winning. Let’s give them some support, and see where this goes. After all, I think Flyers fans forget what it’s like to win, so enjoy the ride at the moment.
