When will the Flyers get respect? When will the Flyers start to garner some respect after a successful season in which the Flyers won a playoff round, and finished second in the Metropolitan Division with 89 points (One point behind the Washington Capitals?
It appears it won’t be happening this season, as ESPN has left the Flyers out of the Divisional Realignment:
Now many Flyers players are left out Trophies conversations. For example, Carter Hart wasn’t mentioned for the Vezina Trophy (Best NHL goalie) this past season, and Ivan Provorov was barely mentioned for the Norris Trophy (Best NHL Defensman) this past season, as well. Both of these players did not deserve to win the said trophies outright, but they should have been in the conversations for such.

All of these factors are taken into consideration as to how the Flyers are suspiciously left off the rankings for the upcoming season, and now the Divisional Realignment. Yes, this was an oversight, but this stuff happens all the time to Philly teams. They just seem to be forgotten.
