The Flyers will play their home opener tonight against the defending Cup champs in the Florida Panthers.

Emil Andrae will make his 2025-26 season debut tonight, as Cam York is still not ready to go. York was on the ice at morning skate and he did practice fully with the team, indicating he’s close to returning.
The orange and black played well against the Florida Panthers last Thursday, and against the Carolina Hurricanes this past Saturday. Maybe that will help get this club of much-needed victortonight against the Panthers.
