The Reading Royals, the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms affiliates, signed forward Dominiks Marcinkevics for the 2024-25 season this past Monday. So who just is Marcinkevics?
Marcinkevics is just 23-years-old, and stands at 5’9 while weighing 161 pounds. He’s a native of Latvia, and played just 13:games on a loan to the Adirondack Thunder last season, while netting two goals and three assists.

Dominiks is a player that creates a lot of opportunities, to include his teammates. He’s a hungry player, that can skate with the best of them. Dominiks has skill with his stick, and sees the ice well.

Believe it or not, Dominiks becomes the 11th player to ink a contract with the Royals for the 2024-25 season, including three defensemen and now eight forwards. Of course, the Royals will have Parker Gahagen as a netminder possibly, or newly acquired Vinnie Purpura to be the full-time starter with the Royals.
