Dan Vladar is starting in goal tonight for the Philadelphia Flyers. The official confirmation came from the Flyers’ account and head coach Rick Tocchet following Monday’s morning skate.

They’re facing the New York Rangers at 7:00 PM ET. Vladar has been solid this season with a 20-10-6 record, 2.40 GAA, and .907 save percentage through 37-38 appearances (he’s having a career year so far). His most recent outing was a 4-3 shootout win over Pittsburgh on Saturday, where he made 20 saves.

There are also updates on the injury front: Travis Konecny (TK) skated today and sounds like he has a good chance to play tonight (more likely than Nick Seeler, who is also close but game-time decisions for both).Should be an interesting matchup—let’s go Flyers!
