Cutter Gauthier, the guy the Flyers drafted 5th overall in 2022 but traded away in January 2024 (to Anaheim for Jamie Drysdale and a pick), has faced Philadelphia four times since joining the Ducks. As of the most recent game (March 18, 2026, where the Flyers beat the Ducks 3-2 in Overtime), Gauthier’s career record against his former team is indeed 0-4 in terms of team wins/losses from his perspective (Anaheim is 0-4 in those matchups).

Gauthier has scored in some of them recently—he potted a goal and added an assist in that latest loss, giving him points in at least a couple—but the “0-fer” on the win column is the jab Flyers fans love. It’s classic rivalry pettiness: Gauthier’s tearing it up this season (35 goals and 61 points in 67 games so far, on pace for 40+ goals), while the trade return (Drysdale) has been solid.
Gauthier remains 0-4 against the Flyers, after last night’s game where Noah Cates potted the overtime winner.

- Earlier games (like 2024-25 season): Mostly pointless or low-impact outings for him.
- More recent ones: He’s produced (including that power-play goal last night), but Anaheim still hasn’t beaten Philly.
It’s a fun (for Flyers fans) ongoing storyline. Revenge games hit different.
