Claude Giroux and the Ottawa Senators are in Philadelphia to face the Flyers at Xfinity Live Arena, starting at 7:00 PM EST. Giroux, the longtime Flyers legend and former captain, is making his return to Philly as a Senator.
Giroux’s still producing solid numbers this season (11 goals, 28 assists, 39 points in 56 games so far, with a +15 rating). The Flyers are coming in at 25-20-10, while Ottawa sits at 27-22-7, and the Senators lead the season series 2-0. This isn’t his first rodeo back—his emotional debut return was back in 2022 after the trade—but these games always carry extra weight for fans given his Flyers legacy (most games as captain, massive point totals, etc.).
Expect a warm (or at least loud) reception from the crowd. The game will be broadcasted on NBCSP (NBC Sports Philadelphia) locally, and available on ESPN+ nationally. Should be a fun one.
