Carter Hart got off to a great start to the season, with his Goals Against Average well under three, and his Save Percentage is over a .915, as well. The orange and black are on fire Hart currently has an 8-6-1 record, 2.45 GAA, and a .916 Save Percentage. The Flyers have won the past three out of their four games played.

How many times have we heard, “Hart stands on his head for us. Hartsy’s making some big saves,” from Scott Laughton, or “He was really good tonight,” by John Tortorella.
This past Thursday unbeknown to many people. Hart earned his 92nd career victory, putting him in a tie with Roman Cechmanek and Bob Froese. Mind you he is only 25-years-old. This kid just continues to shoot up the franchise Goaltending leaderboard, and has been doing it quietly.
This teams identity is to battle and play hard, while remaining competitive. This is a young Flyers team, so hopefully this team continues to find their footing.
Fortunately, this young Flyers team claws their way back into games, and continues to fight in large part to some timely saves by Hart and Samuel Ersson. This young man in Hart has electrified the fan base, and has cemented himself as the guy between the pipes for the orange and black for years to come. Let’s make no mistake about it, this is Hart’s net this year. There is no Goalie controversy in Philadelphia for once, Hart is the future of this team.
Every young player will have their ups and downs. It’s just the way sports is. Every sports player at some point throughout their career has encountered a down, and yes even Carey Price fought through some downs in his rookie campaign. It’s a fact, Hart is one darn good Goaltender.
I haven?t checked in here for a while since I thought it was getting boring, but the last few posts are great quality so I guess I will add you back to my everyday bloglist. You deserve it my friend 🙂
