And that’s a wrap, another Flyers alumni game is in the books. Team Tocchet won the game 6-5 in a high scoring affair, and they really gave the crowd something to cheer about before and after the game.

From Mike Knuble’s puck to the face, to a Hartnell down, to Scottie Upshall’s hat trick, the Flyers alumni really put on the show last night. It really was a good time, especially saying all the great stuff the past come back for one night or multiple nights with Rick Tocchet and Paul Holmgren being inducted into the Flyers Hall of Fame tonight at 6:30 p.m.

“I call it my second home. It was an honor to put that jersey on every night. Playing for the Flyers was pretty special.” – Simon Gagne

Danny Briere and Simon Gagne are legends in their own right’s in Philadelphia sports. These two are some of the most clutchest Flyers to ever lace their skates up for the organization. As a pair, these two have tallied big goal after big goal in the playoffs, and Briere donned the name at one time “Mr. Playoffs”

“One of the reasons I wanted to sign here because everyone wanted to play here, and it’s still like that today.” – Danny Briere

Briere also mentioned Ed Snider being one of the best owners. Snider was looking down from heaven smiling last night, seeing all the greats come back to play for one night.

Reggie Leach says it’s wonderful what the Flyers Alumni have become, “I love my buddy Joe, I’m happy to be his friend,” Leach said. “I made some mistakes when I was younger, but I corrected them.”

What a great night it was for the Alumni and for those Flyers fans that were lucky enough to be in attendance. We will wrap this one up with photos from the game last night from our photographer, our very own Ricky Brown (@rickybrown)
