????????????????????????????????????

It’s just great to be home, it’s a sense of relief, the home cooking, seeing family and friends. Well, Oskar can call Philadelphia home for three more years, as he signed a three-year contract extension worth $9 million today, worth an AAV of $3.0 million. The Flyers are always happy to see Oskar Lindblom. Lindblom took to the ice at the Flyers Skate Zone about four weeks ago, and one can just see his jubilant face:

Lindblom brightens everyone’s day, as Alain Vigneault loves the kid. The young man in Lindblom paid a visit to the Flyers in practice back in January. He gives them a sense of hope, and is a ray of sunshine.

This young man Lindblom will not be available for the 24 team playoff tournament I’m told, however it is always great to see him lace those skates up and be with the boys. Now his treatments are finally complete with video from the Flyers, and per General Manager Chuck Fletcher the Flyers hope to take him to Toronto in the hub city.

“I am very excited to be a part of the Flyers for the next three seasons,” Lindblom said in the Flyers press release, “The support that the organization, the fans, and the entire NHL has given me has been quite overwhelming. I can’t wait to get back skating with the boys and being the professional hockey player I know I can be. I want to thank the Flyers for giving me this opportunity and I look forward to the day I’m back and contributing to the team’s success.”

Athletes are human too. Lindblom is always happy, upbeat, and in good spirits daily. It’s tough for a team to lose that type of upbeat personality in the locker room. Whatever the case maybe, Lindblom its always great to see you back home, and on the ice with the boys. Everyone remain #OskarStrong. We are in this fight together with Lindblom. That bell being rung, was the most beautiful noise I have heard, Now the new chapter begins.
