Bobby Brink is expected to return to the lineup today (January 19, 2026) for the Flyers’ road game against the Vegas Golden Knights at 8 p.m. ET.
Brink suffered an upper-body injury on January 6 against the Anaheim Ducks (after a heavy hit) and was placed on IR retroactive to that date, missing six games. Flyers’ coach Rick Tocchet indicates he skated fully in recent practices (including Sunday’s), was deemed “good to go,” and is poised to rejoin the team—likely reuniting with linemate Noah Cates.
The Flyers are facing a tough matchup without Dan Vladar, Rasmus Ristolainen, and Rodrigo Abols. Official lineups aren’t always finalized until closer to puck drop, but all signs point to him activating and playing tonight.

To make room for Brink, Flyers’ number one netminder Dan Vladar has been placed on Injured Reserve (IR). This move is retroactive to the 14th.
