The Bernie Parent Celebration of Life memorial will be held at the Xfinity Mobile Arena this coming Friday November 21st at 6:00 PM.
During the course of his lifetime Bernie Parent became a beloved part of Philadelphia culture. Of course Bernie is remembered for bringing the Stanley Cup to Philly. But his impression on the people of this area goes deeper than just that great accomplishment. Through his fantastic personality and tireless acts of charity Bernie bas become a true icon in his adopted home town.
Bernie was a wonderful ambassador for the Flyers organization, the City of Philadelphia, and the sport of ice hockey in general. This is our chance to pay tribute to a man who became a legend in the City of Brotherly Love for so many different reasons.
