Believe it or not a few Flyers had some good news to share this past weekend

The Flyers have had their fair share of up and downs, and at the moment it appears more downs than ups. However, this past weekend there was some good news to share with a few players. There has been so much negative stuff happening with the Flyers lately, I figured I would share some good news for once, to give a change of pace to those Flyers fans that sticks with this team through thick and thin.

For starters, Cam Atkinson went to Instagram to reveal that him and his wife are expecting a baby girl in January 2023.

The Atkinson’s have two children, Declan and Caden, both of whom are boys. This will be their third baby, and I’m sure they are very happy about such. Finally, just finally, there was some good news to share, but it didn’t stop there this past weekend.

The other good news was Scott Laughton got married to his now wife Chloe on Saturday.

This couple in Laughton and Chloe got engaged about a year ago, and they got hitched this past weekend. Congratulations to Scott and Chloe.

Past and present Flyers made their way into town for this event. Scott is well liked by many of his former and present teammates, as well as, the training staff and coaches alike. Claude Giroux was very good friends with Laughton, so I am certain Ryanne (Claude’s Wife) and Claude were in town for this special occasion.

Flyers fans could use all the good news they can get right now, so hopefully it won’t stop here. Rookie Camp is around the corner, so enjoy your Summer Flyers fans.
