Hockey players are unlike other players in other sports. These fine hockey players are well-known to be classy, blue collar players, that interact well with the fans for the most part.

Michael Raffl is currently in his seventh season with the Flyers, and well he originally scored two goals against the Vegas Golden Knights on Monday night. Or did he? Raffl only wanted credit for one goal, as one of his goals was actually Ivan Provorov’s goal, according to Raffl. Raffl said that he never touched the puck on what originally was his first goal of the game at 6:56 in the second period.

It’s fantastic that he is honest, but he wanted to give it to the person that earned the tally. Raffl, however, did provide a good screen on the goal, to allow the goal to transpire in the first place. You know the Flyers did something right that night when a player wants to give up one of his credited goals.

Provorov was officially credited with the goal last night, and for Provorov it was his second goal of the season. Raffl did receive an assist on the goal. This is just great sportsmanship from a team that obviously cares about one another:

This shows that hockey players are truly the best in sports. They get it, and that’s one reason the fans feel like they are a part of the team. Hockey is truly the greatest sport on Earth.
