The Reading Royals acquired defenseman Logan Britt and future considerations from the Greenville Swamp Rabbits as part of a three team deal. Devon Paliani was traded to the Savannah Ghost Pirates in exchange for forward Brent Pedersen. To complete the three team trade, the Royals then sent Pedersen to Greenville for Logan Britt and future considerations.

Of course, the proud affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, in the Royals continue to make shift their roster. They have been busy in that regard this offseason.

Britt, stands at 6’2, weighing 190 pounds. He’s a left-handed shooting defenseman, who tallied three goals and 21 points in 37 games for Sacred Heart during one of his collegiate years.

All in all, Britt spent five seasons in the NCAA between Sacred Heart, Quinnipiac, and the University of North Dakota. Britt has tons of professional experience, coupled with playing for the Greenville Swamp Rabbits last season in the ECHL.

He also won a United States Hockey League Clark Cup with the Sioux Falls Stampede in 2019 before arriving in college. Britt is mainly a stay-at-home defenseman, but a quality defenseman.
