Aleksei Kolosov, the Flyers’ Goaltender (and Belarusian prospect), was loaned/assigned (“sent”) to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (their AHL affiliate) on February 1, 2026. This happened after he was recalled earlier, likely as a depth move tied to injuries (e.g., Samuel Ersson hurt).

Kolosov played for the Phantoms that same day (February 1) against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, allowing six goals on 27 shots in a loss. However, he was quickly recalled back to the Flyers on February 2, 2026 (the day after), right after that Phantoms appearance.
Now he has been sent back to Lehigh, as expected, after the Flyers have played their last game for 19 days (Olympic Break).

- With Phantoms: Started 21 games, 9-11-1 record, 2.69 GAA, .902 SV%.
- With Flyers: 4 games, 0-2-0, 4.00 GAA, .830 SV%.
Kolosov is a 2021 third-round pick (78th overall) by the Flyers, and this back-and-forth has been ongoing in 2025-26. Let’s hope he finds his groove again, and plays well down the stretch for the Phantoms.
