The Flyers have recalled Adam Ginning from his conditioning stint, and have placed him on waivers.
Of course, the intent is to send him to Lehigh. Ginning is a Swedish professional ice hockey defenseman born on January 13, 2000, in Linköping, Sweden. At 25 years old, he stands at 6’3 and weighs approximately 198 lbs.
Ginning is known for his size, physicality, and two-way potential, often praised for his composure under pressure. Flyers head coach Rick Tocchet has highlighted Ginning’s smart decision-making and ability to “learn on the fly,” which helped him earn a training camp roster spot in 2025 despite limited prior NHL experience. He’s been described as a late bloomer, with this season representing a critical opportunity to establish an NHL career amid competition from veterans like Dennis Gilbert and Noah Juulsen.
